The notices for No-Confidence motion given by Seemandhra MPs have only ended in only flagging of the notice by Speaker Meira Kumar for the sixth day in a row.

However, the proceedings on Tuesday as the Speaker wanted to count the number of members who are in favour of No-Trust motion, had something to cheer for those seeking to keep the state united.

Only TDP Seemandhra MPs gave notice of No-confidence motion on Tuesday, while Seemandhra MPs of Congress and YSRCP failed to do so.

Speaker Meira Kumar read out the notice given by TDP MP Modugula Venugopal Reddy even as the House was not in order with members of different parties occupying the well and were raising slogans on various issues.

She wanted the House in order after reading out the notice. In response to her directions, members in support of the No-Confidence motion stood up. And the numbers almost added up to more than 40, a close call to the required 50. The Speaker subsequently adjourned the House as order did not return to the House.

Fourteen members of the BJD, 11 members of the Shiv Sena, 11 members of the AIADMK, four members of the Akali Dal, one member each from the MDMK and AGP stood up in support of the No-Trust motion.

According to MP Lagadapati Rajagopal, apart from the 36 MPs who stood up on Tuesday, the total members who will support the motion will be 58 excluding the 20 odd members of Samajwadi Party.  He asserted that by their actions, the Seemandhra MPs will see that UPA will realize that it is a minority government.

Speaking to media persons after Lok Sabha was adjourned,  Seemandhra Congress MP Sabbam Hari said they will put the Government on the mat in relation to T issue.

The Seemandhra MPs said that they will give the notice of No-Confidence motion on Wednesday.
