Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K. Chandrasekhar Rao withdrew his remarks during the ‘Sakala Jana Bheri’ where he said that to the effect that “all Seemandhra people are traitors of Telangana.”
He appealed to Congress high-command and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to start the process of Telangana formation without delay.
KCR’s remarks assume significance as several Congress leaders in the state criticized him for not mentioning Congress or any leader of the party in the ‘Sakala Jana bheri’ jointly organized by TRS and TJAC.

KCR requested Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to start the process of Telangana formation without delay, on the plea that delaying the issue will create dissensions among people.
When asked about the stance of his party over YSRCP-sponsored ‘Samaikya Shankharavam’ as announced by its president YS Jagan, KCR said “anything is possible, as the Centre is keen on solving the issue.”
He took exception to remarks by BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya and CPI state secretary K. Narayana. KCR also criticized Congress MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy for calling him a “demon”.
