Ram Charan Teja, 9 others booked for obscene film posters

Hyderabad: A case has been registered against Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja and 9 others on charge of alleged obscenity in film posters in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh, police said on Wednesday.
One K Nagendra Prasad, in his complaint stated that the posters of 'Yevadu' film were obscene, after which a case was booked against Ram Charan and nine other members associated with the film including director and producer, police said.
They were booked under relevant sections of the IPC and Indecent Representation of Women Prohibition Act, 1986, according to Yemmiganur police. The film 'Yevadu' which was released on January 12, is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and features Amy Jackson and Shruti Hassan in the lead roles.
