According to Deputy Floor leader of TRS, T. Harish Rao, the onus of ensuring a discussion on the Telangana Bill to start in the State Assembly lay with the Telangana Ministers and TDP members from the region.
But Harish Rao should realize that the TRS MLAs also can play a key role by not obstructing the functioning of the House.
Harish Rao lashed out at the YSRCP and TDP Seemandhra members for stalling the proceedings in the House, after the Assembly was adjourned twice on Wednesday.
The TRS leader further reminded that legislatures in UP, MP and Bihar states had devoted only one or two days for discussion on the bifurcation Bill when three new states were formed in the past. On the other hand the members in the A.P. Assembly have been provided with ample time and opportunity to deliberate the T Bill thoroughly, he added.
