Senior Congress leader, six-time MLA and former minister JC Diwakar Reddy said he wants to stay with Congress, but state PCC president Botcha Sataynarayana is asking him to go.
JC revealed that he has been “invited” by TDP and YRSCP to join. He added that his brother JC Prabhakar Reddy and his son can join any party they like.
He said he has not received any show-cause notice from the PCC so far.
Meanwhile, PCC Disciplinary committee chairman Kanteti Satyanarayana Raju has said PCC state unit has every authority to issue a show-cause notice to anyleader howsoever big.
It may be recalled that JC has been criticizing Congress high-command for taking a decision to divide the state. He had said that Congress president Sonia Gandhi has become old and she should give way for others.
Following his comments, Congress General Secretary in-charge of state affairs Digvijay has said that he will be issued a show-cause notice.
