AP: Minister T G Venkatesh, who hails from Rayalaseema region, questioned as to why not Hyderabad belongs to all when the Srisailam project, which is located in Kurnool district, is belongs to all.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Venkatesh said that it is not correct on the part of the leaders to say that the Srisailam project is belongs to all and not Hyderabad. He said that the Seemandhra people played key role in the development of the Hyderabad.
He opined that Article 371 (D) is to be repeal if state was to be bifurcated. He said that convening of the Assembly will depend upon the decision of the Chief Minister. He said that he has already asked the Chief Minister to prorogue the Assembly.
He also opined that the Kurnool and Ananthapur districts to be included in Telangana region if one divides the state keeping the future in mind.
