Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will hold talks with APNGOs on Wednesday at 12.00 noon, to find a way-out of the current impasse in the state following Congress’ decision to divide the state and subsequent cabinet approval to the same.

The APNGOs led by its president Ashok Babu  and several JACs representing teachers, gazetted officers, RTC, electricity and education took part in the talks with the Cabinet sub-committee headed by state Finance minister Anam Ramanarayana Reddy.

Anam told the APNGOs and other JAC leaders to stop the strike and join the duties as political parties including Congress, have now come forward to take part in the agitation against bifurcation.

In response to this, the APNGOs said that they want a concrete assurance on the division of the state. For this, the NGOs requested the minister to arrange a meeting with the Chief Minister. The cabinet sub-committee contacted the Chief Minister and after his consent, the talks between the Chief Minister and the APNGOs, has been scheduled for Wednesday.

Speaking to the media after the talks with cabinet sub-committee, Ashok Babu made it clear that they will not stop the agitation unless a concrete assurance on stoppage of bifurcation process.
