| Stating that there was no question of making Hyderabad as a Union Territory, TRS leader and Peddapally MP G Vivek has said Hyderabad would be a joint capital for two regions for ten years only. Speaking to the media, Vivek along with another MP Manda Jagannatham said a new capital for Seemandhra should be set up as early as possible. “We will also request the Union government to set up a Central University and IIT in the Seemandhra region. Stating that the Antony committee was set up not for going back on the commitment of Telangana, Manda jagannatham said it was set up to hear the grievances and problems arising out of formation of Telanagna State.
