Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has inaugurated the Hyderabad’s Metro rail model coach at Necklace Road. The state-of-the-art coach was the cysnosure f olla eyes and it will be on display for the benefit of public from Thursday.
The programme was attended by state ministers Kasu Venkata Krishna Reddy, Danam Nagender, Mukhesh Goud, apart from Metro Rail managing director N.V.S. Reddy.
L&T Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd., constructors of the rail line, showcased the first coach they have commissioned for the 72-km-long elevated rail project. The coach was supllied by Hyundai-Rotem consortium.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiran said the Hyderabad Metro rail will become another symbol of brand Hyderabad like the Outer Ring Road and P.V. Narasimha Rao Expressway.
