Union Textiles Minister Kavuri Sambasiva Rao has said that the Centre will take a decision on the status of Hyderabad city.
Speaking to the media here, Kavuri said that the Centre will only take a decision on the status of Hyderabad. It may be recalled that the Seemandhra leaders were stating that they have developed Hyderabad and hence they were demanding the Centre to make Hyderabad as a Union territory or permanent joint capital. The Telangana protagonists have been saying that they will not accept separate Telangana state without Hyderabad city. In this context, Kavuri said that the Centre will only decide the future of Hyderabad city.
