Hyderabad: Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy informed Seemandhra ministers and Congress MLAs that he will find out whether the Telangana resolution and Telangana Bill will come to the Assembly or only the Telangana Bill.
The Chief Minister was talking to anxious MLAs after Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari’s statement that state bifurcation is inevitable.
Kiran Kumar Reddy told them that he had spoken to the AICC general secretary and state party affairs incharge Digvijay Singh to get clarity on Telangana resolution and Telangana Bill. Singh reportedly informed the Chief Minister that he will clarify the factual position on Wednesday.
Union ministers believe that the state bifurcation will be concluded before next general elections, but the Chief Minister is optimistic that the state will remain united until the next elections.

Minister and Seemandhra Legislature’s Forum Convenor S. Sailajanath, while speaking to reporters on Tuesday, said that they will discuss future strategy at the meeting.
He alleged that some leaders were issuing statements to sabotage the movement and to create confusion among the Seemandhra people. He, however, reiterated that their struggle for Samaikyandhra will continue no matter what.

Union minister Daggubati Purandeswari said Seemandhra Union ministers have discussed alternatives and have decided to ask the GoM to give the Seemandhra region a good development package.
In New Delhi, Union minister Panabaka Lakshmi echoed similar sentiments. She said the Seemandhra Union ministers will meet soon to discuss the problems of the Seemandhra region.
The issues they will concentrate on are education, employment, industry and water sharing, among other things. They will meet the GoM and submit their report on the problems of the Seemandhra region.
Another Union minister Killi Kruparani, speaking to the media in Srikakulam on Tuesday, said she did not resign because her resignation would not have stopped the division.
MPs Ananta Venkatram Reddy, Lagadapati Rajagopal and Rayapati Sambasiva Rao said they will not compromise on their decision to resign.
