If the Centre gives in to the demand for Telangana, 21 states in the country will make similar demands, Vishnu Kumar Raju explained. He said the Samaikya Garjana demands a rollback of the decision, as the Centre has no right to do so.

President of Vizag Development Council and General Secretary of Non-Political JAC P. Vishnu Kumar Raju demanded a reversal of the proposal of ITIR hub in Hyderabad and questioned the rationality of allocating an additional hub to Hyderabad when people have been agitating against state bifurcation. He appealed to the Supreme Court to constitute a committee to give a hearing to the feelings and sentiments of people in  Seemandhra regions.
Rishikonda IT Park Association Vice President O. Naresh Kumar said Seemandhra people would be badly affected by the state bifurcation as they stand to lose all their resources.
He said IT sector was developed in Hyderabad where around 13lakh people are employed with exports of around 64,000cr. But, the remaining districts employ 23,000 people in the IT sector with exports to the tune of Rs. 2,000cr in the last 10 years, he said. People are not ready to lose the capital at any cost, he explained.
Vizag Bar Association president N. V. Badrinath said leaders from the state had failed to convey the spirit of voluntary samaikya movement to the Centre. He said advocates in the state are ready to fight a legal battle  in the Supreme Court for justice.

Crowds braved the rains and thronged the Beach Road to attend the meeting in large numbers.
