Hyderabad: Tension prevailed at the Goshamahal stadium this evening when the police arrested the Telangana Political JAC Chairman Prof. Kodandaram and other activists.
The police, who have arrested Telangana protagonists in different parts of the city, have lodged them in the Goshamahal stadium. Prof. Kodandaram and others reached Goshamahal stadium to see those detained in the Stadium. There was tension in the area when the police arrested Prof. Kodandaram and other Telangana activists.
MRPS flays attack on constable
MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga has said there was no protection to Telangana leaders and people under the Seemandhra dispensation. Speaking to the media, he said that if the Seemandra people were really interested in united State, they would not have not attacked the police constable who raised ‘Jai Telangana’ slogans. If they could torture a person for raising T slogans, one could easily clearly see what sort of fate would befall the Telangana people who were demanding separate State. He said that he would organize meetings in Seemandhra region shortly.
