The expert committee constituted by the Central government to study the various alternatives for the new capital of the successor State of Andhra Pradesh has invited suggestions from the public and other organisations.
The committee headed by K.C. Sivarama Krishnan, former Secretary, Urban Development, GoI and comprising experts, said public or organisations could communicate their suggestions by email tofeedback.expcomt@
mha.gov.inby April 30.
It may be mentioned that the Centre had issued terms of reference for the committee to study various alternatives for locating the new capital and evaluating their comparative suitability based on available data, site visits and consultations with stakeholders, Central, existing State government and successor State of Andhra Pradesh and submit its report by Aug. 31 to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
