Just when the Centre is getting ready to see that the President Pranab Mukherjee notifies the bifurcation of AP, care-taker Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has announced his plan to approach Supreme Court on T Bill.
Even as Congress high-command is busy trying to set its house in order in Seemandhra region, Kiran is slowly inching towards the most expected thing on his part.
Indicating in no uncertain terms that he will float a new party, Kiran has declared that he does not need Congress party’s B-form for next elections.
Addressing a meeting of students from 14 universities of Seemandhra region, who converged at Image Gardens, Madhapur, Kiran shared his views and goals with them.
Kiran is to follow up this meeting with another convention of intellectuals.
Indicating his intention to set up a new party, Kiran asked the young students to “give me the energy to take a decision. I am asking as one who has resigned as Chief Minister opposing the humiliating manner in which the T Bill was passed”.
Kiran told the students that Delhi leaders have humiliated Telugu people.
He said that the T Bill was brought about in a surreptitious manner and called upon them to come together to fight against the unjust Bill.
Political observers said that Kiran is trying to get the support of backward classes and scheduled castes for his new political outfit.
