New Delhi: CPI state Secretary K. Narayana once again took on Congress for speaking in two voices before the GoM.
Narayana also wanted the Centre to put special focus on the Rayalaseema region, by establishing a special development board for its development. He said: “I have met two Chief Ministers in the past on setting up of a development board for Telangana. If that suggestion is ignored now, there is every possibility of a similar movement in Rayala Seema within the next five years.”
Addressing a press conference, Narayana expressed a Congress concern that though the Centre has started his process of Telangana formation, Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is opposing the move.
Narayana said there is concern in the public with these developments and went on to charge that people in the government, who has a duty to address these concerns, are actually frightening people.
Narayana took exception to the GoM’s meeting with parties on an individual basis.
