4 ENGINEERING GIRL STUDENTS KILLED AS CAR RAMS INTO BUS STOP IN VIJAYAWADA

A car rammed into a bus-stop at Ramavarappadu in the city this evening, killing four girls and injuring five others, all students SRK Engineering College waiting at the stop, police said.
The deceased were identified as Jyothirmai, Chandhusri, Vijaya and Sindhuja. The injured included two boys.
 Police Inspector Eswar Pavan Kumar Reddy said condition of two of the injured was quite serious.
 Driver of the car apparently lost control and rammed it into the students waiting for a bus. He fled from the spot afterwards.
"The car ran over 10 students who were waiting at the bus stop and four of them died on the spot. Five others who are waiting for buses sustained injuries," the Inspector said..  Ramavarpadu police have registered a case and are investigating.
