Hyderabad: Union home minister Sushilkumar Shinde on Friday indicated that the ongoing exercise undertaken by Group of Ministers on the formation of Telangana state may conclude before the commencement of Parliament winter session.
Speaking to newsmen in Delhi, the home minister, who is heading the GoM on Telangana said, all necessary information relating to bifurcation of the state is being collected and home ministry officials are actively involved in the issue.
Meanwhile, home secretary Anil Goswami held a high-level meeting with officials from six ministries in order to frame the issues concerning preparation of T bill.
He has instructed officials to prepare reports accordingly and submit to the ministry before November 1. In a related development, Andhra Pradeesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan met UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi for second time in three days and also met Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and spoke to them on the affairs of the state.
