DEVELOPING: 1-meter tsunami to hit #Fukushima region in less than 5 minutes - Japanese weather agency

An earthquake of 7.3 magnitude has hit 231 miles (371 kilometers) east of Japan’s Honshu Island, according to the US Geological Survey. Meteorologists warn that a 1-meter-high tsunami could follow.
Tsunami is due to hit at 17.42 GMT in Fukushima region, Japanese Weather Agency has predicted, but a US Pacific tsunami warning center says there is no destructive widespread threat following the quake.
