Lok Satta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan will launch a two-week long campaign ‘Telugu Tejam’ on Saturday from Kurnool. He will will mobilise people’s support for a amicable solution to problems thrown up by the Centre’s decision to carve out a separate Telangana state.
Party state president Katari Srinivasa Rao in a press release said on Friday that Seemandhra will suffer economically if people there repeat the mistake of their counterparts in Telangana by calling for closure of schools and government offices.
During the campaign people can convey their views on issues like protection to people living in Hyderabad, sharing of Hyderabad revenue, division of water resources, government employees’ future, he said.
