Hyderabad: The city police on Tuesday gave permission to the APNGOs to hold their ‘Save AP’ meeting at Lal Bahadur Stadium here on September 7. The permission was granted on the condition that only employees will take part in the meeting.
DCP, central, V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, said that the APNGOs had applied ahead of other groups.
Police didn’t give permission for the rally proposed by the Telangana Joint Action Committee, stating that the dates clashed. The police said that rallies are banned since they comprise moving crowds.
