Joint Action Committee of Private Schools Managements Association will organise a massive human chain (lakshala jana maha manavaharam) on August 30 to protest against bifurcation of the State.
Talking to reporters here on Wednesday, Association leaders V. Janardhan Reddy, G. Pulliah, S. Srinivasa Reddy said public and students would form human chains in different localities between 10.30 am and 11 am to express their opposition to bifurcation.
To burst crackers
The organizers will burst jet crackers to mark beginning of the chain formation and issue warning through another round of crackers, which serve as alert for the entire city at a time.
The organisers called upon public, employees, various groups and farmers to form the chain. They said the Centre had announced the division of the State against the wishes of public which opened a Pandora ’s Box. People are fighting because they lose enormously if the State was divided.
Huge investments
The income levels in Andhra and Rayalaseema declined after formation of unified Andhra Pradesh but the living conditions improved in Telangana because of huge investments in the region including Hyderabad.
They criticised the political parties for playing with the lives of the people saying they had known pretty well that State was going to be divided.
But they indulged in high drama and slang match and caused irreparable loss to the interests of the public.
No to leaders
The organisers said they would not involve the leaders of any party in the protest which were selfish and were likely to mortgage the interests of agitators any time.
